Christian Moore is a former Royal Marine Officer with over a decade of experience in commercial security and risk management. He is the Director of Strategic Operations for Concentric Advisors, a Seattle-based risk management consultancy that supports the endeavours of some of the world’s most renowned philanthropists. He has a Master’s degree in Defence Studies and will co-ordinate all aspects of the technical and strategic approach of the project.

Rafael Manzanero OBE
The Project Team works closely with FCD's CEO Mr. Rafael Manzanero and his ranger team. Rafael is a highly skilled global conservation leader with many years of experience working on the cutting edge of conservation in Belize. He is the Senior Client representative on the Project Board and will work closely with the Project Manager to identify and prioritize immediate, medium and long-term needs in equipment, training & resources. In 2013 he was awarded an OBE for services to Conservation.

Chris Minty MBE
Chris Minty is the Executive Director of Selvana Conservation, a conservation project management specialist group. He is an experienced and passionate supporter of Belize, he has been working in the country for over 25 years. He managed the Las Cuevas Research Station for 7 years and has led numerous research projects in the Chiquibul Forest from soil assessments to the release of Harpy Eagles. He has a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management from University of Edinburgh and in 2007 he was awarded an MBE for services to Tropical Forest Conservation.
TRaining manager | survival wisdom
Richard Pyshorn served for 30 years in the Royal Air Force Regiment. His years of experience as a Jungle Warfare Instructor in Belize teaching both Belezean and British students to survive in the jungle inspired him to establish Survival Wisdom Ltd, a Cornish based survival training school. Richard will design and deliver the essential Forest Safety & Survival program that will lower the risks faced by the FCD Rangers operating in the Chiquibul.
Project Assurance | INDEPENDANT CONSULTANT
Alexander Shakespeare retired from the British Army in 2014. His last role as a MOD staff officer coordinating the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan - honed project skills that will help us execute our multi-stakeholder campaign. Working closely with Rainforest Concern, Alexander will be engaged as an independent consultant ensuring that the project is managed transparently and as per the PRINCE 2 format.
